Španjolsko barokno slikarstvo - izložba

U Gradskom muzeju Vukovar – Galeriji Oranžerija u subotu 29. listopada 2016. otvorena je izložba Španjolsko barokno slikarstvo - Izbor iz zbirke Wüllner.

Njemački kolekcionar Jörg Wüllner odlučio je kao priznanje Gradskom muzeju Vukovar za dobivenu prestižnu Silletto nagradu the European Museum of the Year Award (EMYA 2016.) u San Sebastianu u Španjolskoj i 70-godišnjice osnutka Gradskog muzeja u Vukovaru kao i za sve napore učinjene oko ponovne izgradnje ove najvažnije kulturne institucije grada Vukovara, izložiti osam umjetničkih slika španjolskih baroknih majstora 17. st.

To su djela značajnih umjetnika španjolskog „zlatnog vijeka“ iz toledske i madridske slikarske škole, kao Luisa Tristána (oko 1586. – 1624.), Pedra Orrentea (1580.-1645.), VicentaCarducha (1576. ili 1578. – 1638.), Francisca Camila (1615. – 1673.), Juana Carreňa de Mirande (1614. – 1685.), Matea Cereza ml. (1637. – 1666.), ClaudiaCoella (1642. – 1693.), prethodnika, suvremenika i nasljednika Velazqueza.

Budući da se radi većinom o djelima koja su se nalazila u privatnim kolekcijama i bila nedostupna javnosti, posjetioci izložbe mogu po prvi puta i ekskluzivno u Vukovaru vidjeti ova djela, koja su i stručnjacima poznata samo preko literature i fotografija.

U drugom dijelu izložbe predstavljene su povijesne veze Španjolske i Vukovara koje se ogledaju u prvom planu grada Vukovara oko 1687. na španjolskom jeziku kojega je izradio nepoznati španjolski kartograf. Također jedan od zadnjih veleposlanika Sv. Rimskog carstva na španjolskom dvoru bio je Vukovarac Emmerick Josef grof Eltz koji je preselio sjedište obitelji Eltz iz Njemačke u Vukovar.

U ovom dijelu izložene su i dvije slike iz Franjevačkog samostana u Vukovaru: Immaculata i Sv. Franjo u ekstazi, koje predstavljaju utjecaj španjolskih slikara zlatnoga vijeka, Murilla i Ribere, krajem 18. i u 19. st. i na našim prostorima, koje pokazuju da je Vukovar bio na nivou europskih kulturno-umjetničkih tokova.

Likovni postav izložbe potpisuje Zoran Šimunović, kustos likovne zbirke GMV, a oblikovanje izložbenih panoa Nikolina Jelavić Mitrović, dizajnerica iz Zagreba.

Na izložbi su govorili Ružica Marić, ravnateljica Gradskog muzeja Vukovar, te autori izložbe Jörg Wüllner, mr. filozofije, kolekcionar i vlasnik Zbirke, Jasminka Najcer Sabljak, docent dr. sci, ALU Osijek, Silvija Lučevnjak, prof., Zoran Leskovac, licencijat teologije iz Münchena. Izložbu je u ime gradonačelnika Vukovara Ivana Penave otvorila Marina Sekulić, pročelnica Ureda za kulturu i turizam Grada Vukovara.

Izložbu prati bogato ilustrirani katalog kojeg je uz autorske tekstove dizajnirao Siniša Vidić, a otisnula Grafika Osijek.

In the Vukovar Municipal Museum - Gallery Orangery, on Saturday October 29, was the opening of the exhibition Spanish Baroque painting - Selection from the collection Wüllner.

In recognition of the Vukovar Municipal Museum and its winning of the prestigious Silletto award – European Museum of the Year Award (EMYA 2016) in San Sebastian in Spain, as well as the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vukovar Municipal Museum and for all the efforts made around reconstructing of the most important cultural institution of the city of Vukovar, German collector Jörg Wüllner decided to exhibit eight paintings of Spanish baroque masters of the 17th century.

These are the works of important artists of the Spanish 'golden age' of the Toledo and Madrid schools of painting, as Luis Tristán (about 1586 – 1624), Pedro Orrente (1580 – 1645), Vicente Carducho (1576 or 1578 – 1638), Francisco Camilo (1615 – 1673), Juan Carreño de Miranda (1614 – 1685), Mateo Cerezo jr. (1637 - 1666), Claudio Coello (1642 – 1693), predecessors, contemporaries and successors of Velazquez. Since these are mostly works that were in private collections and unavailable to the public, visitors of the exhibition can see the paintings, which are known only via literature and photography even to experts, for the first time and exclusively in Vukovar.

In the second part of the exhibition, the historical ties of Spain and Vukovar are presented, which is reflected in the first map of the city of Vukovar, from about 1687 in Spanish language, produced by an unknown Spanish cartographer. In addition, one of the last ambassadors of the Holy Roman Empire to the Spanish court was the Vukovar citizen Emmerick Josef Count Eltz, who moved the main residence of the Eltz family from Germany to Vukovar.

In this section two paintings from the Franciscan Monastery in Vukovar are exhibited: Immaculata and St. Francis in Ecstasy, which represent the influence of Spanish painters of the golden century, Murillo and Ribera, in the late 18th and in the 19th century in our region, which shows that Vukovar was following European cultural and artistic trends.

The art exhibition is signed by Zoran Šimunović, curator of the art collection of the Vukovar Municipal Museum, the design of the exhibition boards was done by Nikolina Jelavić Mitrović, designer from Zagreb.

At the opening of the exhibition speeches were held by Ružica Marić, director of the Vukovar Municipal Museum, and the authors of the exhibition: Jörg Wüllner, Mr. philosophy, collector and owner of the collection, Jasminka Najcer Sabljak, Ph. D., ALU Osijek, Silvija Lučevnjak, prof., Zoran Leskovac, licentiate in theology from Munich. The exhibition was opened by Marina Sekulić, head of the Office of Culture and Tourism of the City of Vukovar in the name of the mayor of Vukovar Ivan Penava.

The exhibition is accompanied by a richly illustrated catalogue, designed by Siniša Vidić and printed by Grafika Osijek.
